Refugees Resettle in NWA, Donation of Beds

Overcoming the challenges of building a new life, requires the network of a
good community. Resettlement efforts are underway for refugees to
Northwest Arkansas. On December 5, 2018, free beds and helping hands
were donated to 2 families relocating to Northwest Arkansas by Canopy
Northwest Arkansas and Joplimo Mattress.
“Northwest Arkansas, with its diverse community, rapid economic growth,
and excellent educational institutions, is an ideal location for refugees seeking
to build a new life.” explains Emily Crane Linn, Executive Director of
Canopy Northwest Arkansas. Refugees are resettling from overseas.
An immediate need for housing will be served by a local Airbnb, until a
longterm solution is available. The organization is currently seeking long
term housing and you may contact Kyle Horne kyle.w.horne@gmail.com.
Joplimo Mattress' mission is to give back and positively impact others in
the community. Pictured here are Canopy Northwest Arkansas
and Joplimo Mattress Store Manager, Rodney Mobley. Tears were wiped
away and gratefulness exchanged for the donation. A gesture of community
between the Refugee family and Joplimo Mattress owner, Brian Croft,
will be a sincere thank you exchanged of no words. Joplimo Mattress is a retailer of handcrafted mattresses and specialty sleep products. The company was founded in 2009 by Brian Croft and has expanded to 10 locations throughout Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas.
